The Gray Catbird sings a remarkably long song that can last up to 10 minutes. Male Catbirds will let everyone know that the territory is theirs with their loud, melodic voice. If a female Catbird is around, the male may switch to a quieter version of his song. The female may even occasionally respond with a song of her own.
